About Us

The National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF) is dedicated to finding better treatments and cures for bleeding and clotting disorders and to preventing the complications of these disorders through education, advocacy and research.

The Central Ohio Chapter of NHF has a long history.  It has existed in some form since the 70s, however, it officially incorporated in 1997 and soon thereafter received its 501(c)(3) designation.

The chapter is guided by a board of directors that provides oversight to the work accomplished by the chapter's paid staff members.  The existence of a professional staff is a recent development and will allow the chapter to greatly expand the programs it offers.  Resources such as annual reports and a strategic plan will soon be developed and made available on this website.

2009 promises to be a banner year for the Central Ohio Chapter.  We're going to be developing many new programs and services that will change the lives of people living with a bleeding or clotting disorder, so make sure you visit this site regularly as things will be constantly evolving.
