The Eagle Outpost program was developed to meet the special needs of adolescents ages 14 to 16.  Participants invited on this weeklong adventure travel by van throughout Michigan and tent camp in state parks, cook over campfires, andshare S'mores and stories each night around the campfire. Males and females with bleeding disorders are welcome on this weeklong adventure. Activities include swimming, canoeing, tubing, hiking, high and low ropes courses, team building activities, and group discussions about bleeding disorders and related complications, including HIV/AIDS and hepatitis.

Leadership skills are promoted and campers are encouraged to join the Counselor in Training (C.I.T.) program at Camp Bold Eagle in the future.
