In-kind Gifts
The Central Ohio Chapter, because it has been run by an all-volunteer group up until 2009, has very few assets and resources compared to most NHF chapters. We plan to ramp up very quickly, but in order to do that, we'll depend heavily on in-kind donations.
What's an "in-kind" donation? It's a donation of paper. It's a desk that you give to the chapter because you're not using it anymore. It's pro bono web design services you offer to the chapter. Basically, it's anything you give to chapter that isn't cash, but still carries value.
