Day at the Zoo

One of the largest gatherings of the hemophilia community occurs each summer at the Day at the Zoo.  Participants enjoy a buffet-style lunch and an educational presentation before they head out to enjoy all that the Columbus Zoo has to offer for the remainder of the afternoon.

Parking, zoo admission and lunch are free for members of the Central Ohio Chapter of NHF. For non-members, the cost will be $10 for an individual and $20 for a family.

Information and activities will be planned for both adults and children.

Upon arrival, please check in with a chapter representative outside of the main entrance where you will receive your zoo admission tickets. When parking, mention to the gate attendant that you are here with the “hemophilia event” and he or she will let you park for free.
