Adult Retreats

Men with hemophilia between the ages of 25 and 40 take part in the Young Adults Program.  This group of guys comes together once a quarter to reconnect with one another; maybe it’s to learn something or maybe it’s just to have fun.  They also go on an annual retreat in Hocking Hills.  What they do at that retreat is really up to them.  It can be as formal or informal as they like.  Anything from presentations or guided discussions to canoe trips and early-morning fishing might find its way onto the agenda.

For men who are getting older (say over 40 years), there is a separate group of men that tries to meet quarterly for a chance to chat with friends as they too hold thier own annual retreat, which they themselves plan.
